Drymonas waterfalls

Drimonas Waterfalls are located in the north of Evia, at an altitude of 620 meters above sea level. They are three waterfalls forming two small lakes. The water falls rapidly from a height of 15 meters into a crystal clear lake surrounded by forest. Around the green lake grows a dense spruce forest with rare black pines, oaks and pines. The water here is very cold, and the maximum depth is about 2 meters. You can get to the waterfall by a trail about 1.5 km long, which starts from the parking lot and runs along the Sepia River. The route runs through picturesque paths, equipped with cozy bridges and benches for rest. One of the paths passes through the forest and climbs to the highest peak of Mount Xiross, where you can enjoy a stunning view. Not far from the waterfalls is a petrified forest and a museum with fossilized mammals of Kerasia.
