Kefalogournas Waterfall is located in a picturesque corner of the island of Thassos, near the village of Theologos. It is located on the outskirts of the village, on the northeastern side, and a cozy path leads to it. In this place, waters from the vast area of the island gather, forming two waterfalls that create a small pond at the foot of the mountain. There are other ponds in the immediate vicinity, ideal for swimming. The vegetation around the waterfalls is dense, with sunlight barely penetrating through the dense foliage. A large flow of water exists all year round, unless there has been a prolonged period of severe drought. Not far away are the ruins of water mills that were used for grinding wheat.
