Kamili Waterfall is located in the picturesque Matsuki Gorge, near the village of the same name. It can be easily spotted from the road, but can only be reached by walking through the gorge. The gorge winds through the picturesque village and flows into the Red River, which ends at the impressive Kamili Falls. The source of the river is formed by four to five springs at an altitude of about 1600 meters above sea level, in the rugged and majestic Kakarditsa Mountains. The water flows cross a gorge with eight waterfalls, located at the same altitude as the village, the trail to which starts at the water mill. The waterfalls vary in height from 3 to 15 meters, and the powerful water flows create mesmerizing turbulent swirls on the rocky ledges. Passing under the second bridge, you will find yourself at the beginning of the large Kamili waterfall, which is particularly impressive in summer when the water flow is at its most powerful.
