Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach is located in the southwestern part of the island of Kos, 7 km from the town of Kefalos and 33 km from the island's capital. The promenade is divided into several small beaches. One of them is called “Paradiso Beach” and it is not accidental. Shallow water, extending 200–300 meters from the shore, make it an ideal place for recreation with children. The water here is crystal clear, allowing you to easily see different small fish. The water temperature is slightly lower than in other places on the island due to the cold currents on the coast. One of the amazing features of the beach is the volcanic gases that come to the surface and create a “Jacuzzi” effect, which has given the beach the unofficial name “Soap Bubble Beach”. The beach is organized with umbrellas, deck chairs, changing rooms, showers and toilets. Sometimes there is a breeze on the beach, which makes it an ideal place for windsurfing, there is even a small school for those who want to learn this sport or rent equipment for various water sports, including catamarans, water skis, etc. For children and lovers of active rest, there is a complex of inflatable slides right in the sea, which adds variety to the rest. Climbing up the mountain, you can admire the stunning scenery.
